Rotary-film cooker for the boiling of:

  • Caramel paste containing dairy components
  • Caramel paste with a high fat content

  • Sugar syrups with fruit puree

Types of film boiling machines:

  1. VV type – vertical cooker
  2. VG type (Vatator) -horizontal cooker

Vertical cookers are used for boiling caramel syrups, fruit pastes. They can be installed as additional modules for the final vacuum boiling process.

Horizontal VG cookers are used for the process of boiling more sticky consistency: caramel syrups with a dry matter content of more than 82%, licorice and paste for the production of extruded gummy sweets or marmalade.

The working chamber with a steam jacket of the VATATOR type cookers is made of copper or stainless steel. The inner surface of the cooking chamber, which is made of copper, is coated with a high-strength layer of titanium and chromium alloys. This coating serves as an additional protection against copper oxidation both during operation and during CIP washing with alkali.
